An independent and non-profit research institute: conducting tourism studies for the German Parliament and the German Government for more than 10 years, benchmarking international tourism websites since 1998.

The main objective of IZT is to realise research projects with a long-term impact on society and regional development. Advising political, industrial and social decision-makers and deliver expert opinions.

The organisation analyses develops and implementats new technologies and offers assessments and evaluations of their impacts on economy, politics, and social issues for clients including the World Tourism Organization, the European Union and federal Ministries
